These fantastic little crackers make the perfect accompaniment for cheese or pate, to enjoy as a light snack or during an evening with friends sharing a bottle of red!
The dry ingredients are available to purchase from my shop pre-mixed, all ready to go-go-go, just add the cheese, water and eggs…this saves you hunting down the individual ingredients from shop to shop!
1/2 cup Sesame seeds*
1/2 cup Almond Flour*
1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds*
1 1/2 tsp psyllium husk powder*
3 tbsp Water
1 large Egg
1/2 tsp Salt*
*these are included in the pre-mixed dry ingredients.
Mix together all ingredients, and roll out thinly between parchment paper, place on a baking sheet and sprinkle sea salt on top.
Bake in oven 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and carefully score the crispbread into the desired form (optional, I just break mine once they’ve cooled).
Lower the heat to 280°F (140°C) and put the crackers back into the oven for another 40 minutes.
Remove the crackers and make sure they are dry all the way through.
Leave them in the oven with the door slightly open until the oven is cool to ensure they dry out and are crunchy.
