Gut Calming 'Clove Infused Green Tea'
This tea provides several components that strengthen the intestinal mucus barrier, and thereby provides a soothing effect if used on a daily basis.
The green tea catechins, together with the essential oil eugenol from the cloves, stimulate mucus production. This thickens the mucus layer considerably, converting your intestinal mucus from a penetrative semi-liquid to a semi-gel protective barrier. Plus, the addition of Inulin stimulates the proliferation of mucus-promoting bacteria, and supplies your gut microbiota with a dose of prebiotics…a win win cuppa tea!
